Morris Law Group is a proud supporter of
Junior Achievement of South Florida.
Our annual “JA Day” was a huge success!

JA Finance Park will impact over 150,000 middle school students this year by teaching through real-life experience.  Students from local middle schools are taught the concepts of personal financial management in the classroom. Then, on their trip to JA Finance Park they apply those concepts in a life-like business environment.

Each student creates a lifestyle budget where they have to factor in things such as real estate, cars, food budgets, entertainment budgets, the stock market and utilities by visiting the 16 business located within Finance Park.

As they go through their “day”, they have to decide on how much they can spend each month on housing, food, clothing and even charity based on their own individualized lifestyle.  Their individualized budget must be balanced by the end of their day at Finance Park.

Each year, all of the attorneys and staff  from Morris Law Group go to JA Finance Park and volunteer for the day as the “business owners”. We get a change to idirectly nteract and help the students work their way through their budgeting process. It is something we all enjoy yet it never ceases to be anything less astonishing to watch these kids work through real life financial situations. Take a look at our pictures below.  Just take a look at our can see what a great time we all had!
